Motion Control & Lip Sync AI: Advanced Video Generation Guide

Master the most advanced AI video features: direct camera movement, control character motion, and sync lip movements to audio.

Motion Control

Motion control gives you filmmaker-level direction over AI-generated videos. Instead of the AI deciding how the camera moves and characters act, you specify exactly what should happen.

Camera Controls

Pan Left/Right

Horizontal camera sweep across the scene

Tilt Up/Down

Vertical camera movement, looking up or down

Zoom In/Out

Push in for close-ups or pull out for wide shots

Dolly

Camera physically moves forward or backward through the scene

Rotation

Camera rotates on its axis for dynamic angles

Tracking

Camera follows a subject through the scene

Character Motion

Beyond camera control, motion control can direct character actions and expressions. Describe specific movements: "character turns head to the left", "raises hand", "walks forward", "changes expression from serious to smiling".

Lip Sync

Lip sync matches a character's mouth movements to an audio track. Upload a character image or video and an audio file, and the AI generates a video where the character appears to be speaking the audio naturally.

How to Use Lip Sync

  1. 1

    Prepare Your Character

Use a clear, front-facing image or video of a character. AI-generated portraits, photos, or avatar images all work.

  2. 2

    Prepare Your Audio

Record or prepare the audio track you want to sync. Clear speech with minimal background noise works best.

  3. 3

    Select Lip Sync Mode

Open the generator and switch to Lip Sync mode. Upload both the character image/video and the audio file.

  4. 4

    Generate

The AI analyzes the audio and generates matching lip movements on the character, creating a natural-looking talking head video.

Combining Features for Production

The most powerful workflow chains multiple RaveGen features together:

  1. 1.Create an avatar in Avatar Studio with the perfect appearance
  2. 2.Generate a portrait of the avatar in the desired scene and pose
  3. 3.Animate it with image-to-video and motion control for dynamic movement
  4. 4.Add speech with lip sync to make the character talk

This pipeline lets you create fully animated, talking AI characters entirely from your browser — no video editing software needed.
